Why Rzume exists

Rzume is built by Ygor Henrique, a software engineer in the Netherlands. One person, no growth team, no ad budget.

The problem with this category

Resume tools mostly sell fear. They tell you that a robot rejected you, show you a score out of a hundred, and charge a monthly fee to move that number. The score is usually invented. The most repeated statistic in the industry, that applicant tracking systems automatically reject 75% of resumes, traces back to a vendor that never published a study and shut down in 2013.

Meanwhile the tools that use a language model will happily write you a promotion you never got. That is not a small flaw. A resume that overstates gets caught in the interview, and the interview is the thing you wanted.

What we do instead

We show you the parse. Before a person reads your resume, software reads it. Rzume shows you what came out, field by field, so you can fix the plumbing before arguing about the words.

We ask instead of inventing. If a line says you were responsible for something, Rzume asks what changed and how much. If you do not answer, the line stays vague. A vague true line beats a specific false one.

We say what we cannot know. No tool can see inside a specific company's hiring software. We check what is checkable and we say so plainly.

We keep the record, not just the document. Most resume tools end the day you get hired. Rzume keeps what you did, so the next search starts from something.

What is honest about the current state

Rzume is new. There are no customer testimonials on this site because there are no customers to quote yet, and inventing them would make us the thing we are arguing against. When there are real ones, they will have real names.
